Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with distributed storage systems, container orchestration systems, and monitoring tools like Prometheus.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
  • Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an asset.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are beneficial.
