Project Manager - Quality & Operations

We are looking to add a highly experienced professional to our team as a Project Manager for Quality and Operations.

  • This is a crucial role for fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence, where data-driven decision-making leads to sustained growth and competitiveness.

A typical day in this role involves:

  1. Fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, timelines, and metrics.
  2. Leading the implementation of Lean projects, ensuring adherence to DMAIC methodology.
  3. Utilizing data-driven decision-making to develop, test, and implement sustainable solutions.
  4. Collaborating with business unit leaders and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic priorities.
  5. Effectively communicating project progress, findings, and results to all levels of the organization.
  6. Providing training and coaching on Six Sigma principles to team members and other employees to build a culture of continuous improvement.
  7. Performing complex data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  8. Applying Lean Six Sigma tools (such as process mapping, statistical analysis, and FMEA) to drive solution-focused outcomes.
  9. Ensuring that all improvements are supported by quantitative evidence and that results are measurable and replicable.
  10. Guiding and supporting process owners in redesigning workflows to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  11. Overseeing the implementation of control plans to sustain improvements post-project completion.
  12. Championing a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring ongoing adherence to Lean Six Sigma standards.
  13. Leading by example as a project leader demonstrating the effectiveness of Six Sigma principles.
  14. Providing coaching, mentorship, and training for Green belt aspirants.
  15. Fostering a knowledge-sharing environment and supporting skills development across the organization.

We're seeking someone with:

  • A minimum of 14 years of supply chain experience
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in project management, continuous improvement, and Six Sigma methodology and certification
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change
  • A proven track record of leading teams and inspiring a culture of operational excellence
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
