Job Title: Senior Software Engineer/ Technical Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Rajahmundry, India.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Data Engineering with Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric, Databricks.

  • They will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data architectures following Medallion Architecture and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Data Pipelines: Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.

  2. Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable data architectures following Medallion Architecture and best practices.

  3. Data Ingestion: Perform data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration across structured and unstructured datasets.

  4. SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

  5. CICD Implementation: Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps.

  6. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data availability.

  7. Data Governance: Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in Azure-based data solutions.

  8. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to maintain reliability and performance.

  9. Technology Advancement: Stay updated with the latest Azure and big data technologies and implement best practices.

  10. Issue Resolution: Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.

  11. Proof of Concepts: Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
