Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence

Job Summary:

A Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence leads complex AI/ML projects from concept to execution, defining deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and project scope. This strategic leader oversees the development of AI/ML systems and mentors technical teams in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and conduct code reviews.
  • Manage the development of AI/ML systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundation models.
  • Supervise and mentor technical teams in a collaborative environment, driving innovation and responsible AI practices.
  • Develop and oversee project requirements, schedules, and roadmaps for AI/ML initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into products, focusing on seamless user experiences.
  • Drive innovation in areas like Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and multi-modal LLMs.
  • Maintain a strong focus on transparent, explainable, and ethical AI practices.
  • Track project progress and provide status reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Deep understanding of Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data manipulation libraries.
  • Experience with AI experiment tracking tools, configuration management tools, and version control systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience managing project schedules, scope, and resources.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire technical teams, communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, and drive business growth through AI innovation.

Qualifications: 10-15 years of experience in leading AI/ML projects, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects and driving business value through AI innovation.
