Roles and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
Develop and execute a strategy for student support services aligned with the university's vision and mission, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and standards.
Student Welfare and Engagement:
Oversee programs addressing mental health, career counseling, mentorship, and life skills development, ensuring resources and support for students facing personal, academic, or financial challenges.
Academic Support:
Coordinate with academic departments to provide tutoring, learning assistance, and workshops to enhance academic performance and facilitate support services for differently-abled students.
Career Development:
Collaborate with the Career Services Office to provide career guidance, internships, and job placement opportunities and organize skill-building programs tailored to student needs.
Counseling and Mental Health Services:
Supervise the counseling and mental health team to provide timely and effective support to students and design awareness programs addressing mental health and stress management.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
Build relationships with external organizations and agencies to enhance student resources and support networks and work closely with faculty, administrators, and parents to ensure a cohesive support system for students.
Administrative and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with university policies and regulatory frameworks and manage department operations to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
