Pre-Sales Automation Specialist

Shape the future of smart buildings and infrastructure solutions.

We are looking for a skilled Pre-Sales Automation Specialist to support our global Building Automation System (BAS) projects from India. As a key member of our pre-sales team, you will be responsible for preparing technical assessments, cost estimations, and competitive bids for BMS projects across industries like commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead pre-sales engineering for BMS projects, following country-specific standards.
  2. Review project inputs, MEP drawings, specifications, and SOPs; identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors.
  3. Prepare technical assessments, RFIs, Bill of Materials, and cost estimations for competitive bids.
  4. Design BAS network architecture and select hardware, software, sensors, controllers, dampers, and airflow devices.
  5. Participate in project kick-off and review meetings; maintain compliance, deviation, and risk logs.
  6. Ensure quality assurance, defect-free deliverables, and timely submissions.
  7. Maintain timesheet compliance and adhere to standard processes.

Requirements:

  1. BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication.
  2. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems: Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, Hot Water systems.
  3. Expertise in BMS architecture: Operator Workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators.
  4. Familiarity with network protocols: BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, etc.
  5. Proficient in wiring, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels.
  6. Experience in engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems.
  7. Knowledge of Automation systems (PLC programming/SCADA).
  8. Quick learner, problem-solving mindset, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant experience in Building Automation Industry, BMS Design, or Automation Engineering.
