Head of Global Compensation Strategy

About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic Head of Compensation and Rewards to shape our organization's compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive global compensation framework. Key responsibilities include establishing a standardized global compensation system, driving differentiated rewards programs, and managing job architecture, compensation benchmarking, short-term incentive programs (STIPs), long-term incentive programs (LTIPs), and global benefits administration.

• Develop and implement a global compensation framework and strategy aligned with business goals and competitive market practices.
• Oversee the creation and continuous improvement of differentiated rewards programs, including STIPs, LTIPs, and executive compensation.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive job architecture model for consistent and equitable job classifications, structures, and career progression paths across the organization.
• Conduct global compensation benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.
• Lead the development of compensation surveys, cost models, and market analysis to align compensation packages with global industry standards and company objectives.
• Administer and manage global benefits programs, ensuring consistency and competitiveness across regions while aligning with employee needs and organizational goals.
• Provide detailed analytical support and insights for compensation planning, budgeting, and forecasting, including costing models for compensation strategies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to evaluate and recommend compensation solutions enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance.
• Develop, maintain, and update compensation-related reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
• Communicate total rewards programs to employees, ensuring clarity, understanding, and alignment with organizational culture.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international compensation regulations, and monitor legislative changes impacting compensation and benefits programs.
• Manage and develop a team of Compensation and Rewards professionals, ensuring high-quality work delivery.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience in a senior Compensation and Benefits leadership role within a global IT services or technology company.
• Strong expertise in establishing and managing a global compensation framework, job architecture, and rewards strategy.
• Experience with compensation benchmarking, STIPs, LTIPs, and executive compensation practices.
• Global benefits administration skills, including designing and managing benefits packages across different regions.
• Exceptional analytical skills, including data modeling, statistical analysis, and advanced Excel functions.
• Expertise in creating and presenting high-level PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
• Experience in developing compensation surveys and costing models, with strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.
• Excellent understanding of market trends in compensation and benefits, particularly in the industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork and senior management presentations.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team, providing leadership and guidance on Compensation and Rewards initiatives.
• Familiarity with global compensation regulations and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate will also have:

• A Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in compensation, benefits, or total rewards are highly desirable.
• Experience in implementing and managing global compensation tools and software.
