Flight Operations Specialist

As a seasoned Flight Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end flight bookings, complex itineraries, and high-touch support via global distribution systems (GDS). You will handle international, multi-city, and round-the-world itineraries with ease, applying airline fare rules and interline agreements to deliver optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process ticket issuance, exchanges, cancellations, and PNR actions in line with defined service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring complete documentation across systems.
  • Collaborate with airline partners to coordinate fare optimization, refunds, and disputes, as well as special service requests like seat preferences, medical needs, and urgent ticketing issues.
  • Lead debit memo management, investigating and responding to ADMs with speed and accuracy, identifying root causes, and implementing preventive measures.
  • Work cross-functionally to reduce ADM occurrences through staff training, documentation, and process improvements, owning BSP and ARC workflows with precision.

To excel in this role, you will require 5+ years of experience in flight ticketing for HNI clients, travel agencies, OTAs, or corporate desks. Proficiency in at least one GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) is essential, along with a deep understanding of international travel, fare construction, and route planning. IATA Foundation or Consultant Certification is required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a result-oriented individual with a strong work ethic, excellent verbal communication skills, and attention to detail. Experience in luxury travel, private aviation, or VIP ticketing is a bonus. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and SLA compliance are paramount.
