Junior Data and AI/ML Engineer Position

We are seeking a talented Junior Data and AI/ML Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, working with large-scale datasets, and collaborating with our research team to advance the field of aerospace technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Python and other relevant tools
  • Work with large-scale datasets, including cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and train machine learning models
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and workflows
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and technologies to support data-driven research

Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience in data pipeline development and applied ML
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in Python, ML, and AI
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with a focus on clean, modular, and well-documented code
  • Proficiency in pandas and NumPy for large-scale data wrangling
  • Familiarity with ML workflows, including preprocessing, train/test split, feature scaling, and cross-validation
  • Good problem-solving mindset with a balance between practical coding and scientific thinking
  • Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration, even at a basic level
