Job Overview:

  • Farm Visits and Reporting: Conduct periodic visits to farms financed by the bank, gather insights, and submit comprehensive visit reports to the branch.
  • Agricultural Loan Applications: Receive loan applications from farmers, assess their feasibility, and prepare detailed recommendation reports for the Branch Manager.
  • Loan Documentation Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of loan documents to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Pre-Sanction Appraisal: Carry out thorough pre-sanction appraisals to evaluate the viability of loan applications.
  • Post-Disbursement Supervision: Monitor and supervise post-disbursement activities to ensure timely repayments and adherence to loan terms.
  • Borrower Liaison: Act as a liaison between borrowers and the bank, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Default Management: Identify cases of default in remitting loan instalments or interest and work with farmers to resolve these issues.
  • Crop Failure Analysis: Investigate crop failure cases, analyze root causes, and suggest corrective actions to mitigate future losses.
  • Recovery Support: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to recover dues and ensure that all financial obligations are met.
  • Meetings and Coordination: Attend block-level and village-level meetings conducted by government offices and other stakeholders to foster relationships and facilitate communication.
  • Subsidy Assistance: Help farmers complete formalities for claiming subsidies and provide necessary support throughout the process.
  • Annual Credit Plan: Develop the Branch's annual agricultural credit plan, aiming to achieve a targeted 18% growth rate.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Submit various statements regarding agricultural lending to the Head Office, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
