Job Title: Ecommerce Director

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ecommerce operations, with a proven track record of driving growth and profitability across various channels.

  • Responsibilities include owning full P&L for the geography, setting aggressive revenue, margin, and CAC/LTV targets.
  • Crafting and executing a holistic growth strategy across D2C, marketplaces, offline, and emerging channels.
  • Forecasting demand and managing end-to-end inventory, ensuring stock-out and ageing stock levels are minimized.
  • Defining product-market fit, localizing hero SKUs, crafting new-product roadmaps, and sunsetting low ROI lines.
  • Collaborating with R&D to adapt formulations for regional regulations and sensorial preferences.
  • Orchestrating 360° marketing—performance, influencer, CRM, PR—and allocating budgets for maximum return on ad spend.
  • Establishing data pipelines and dashboards; tracking cohorts, repeat rates, marketplace rankings in real-time.
  • Negotiating with 3PLs, payment partners, and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and service level agreements.
  • Recruiting, mentoring, and performance-managing cross-functional teams (growth, ops, CS, retail, trade).
  • Championing customer obsession; mining VOC insights to feed product updates and CX enhancements.
  • Driving strategic partnerships—wellness chains, tourism boards, Ayurveda clinics—to amplify reach.
  • Ensuring legal and tax compliance, including cosmetics claims, import duties, and GDPR-like mandates.
  • Presenting quarterly business reviews to Global Leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and next bets.
  • Deploying a test-and-learn culture; running A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.
  • Setting up disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads, and key seller accounts.
  • Benchmarking competition; delivering actionable intel on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
  • Acting as the brand's cultural ambassador, embodying its ethos while driving high-performance execution.
