Job Title: Software Engineering Lead

  • This is an opportunity for a technically skilled individual to lead our software engineering team as a technical expert.

Description

  • You will be responsible for designing, producing, testing and implementing working software, across the lifecycle of the system.
  • Hone your existing software engineering skills and advance your career in this critical role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in a permanent feature team, you will develop knowledge of aspects of associated platforms across disciplines of business, applications, data and infrastructure.
  • You will liaise with principal engineers, architects in the domain and other key stakeholders to understand how the platform works and how it supports business objectives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • We are looking for someone with strong full stack experience in software design and implementation, including being able to exploit programming languages to solve complex problems.
  • You will also need to be capable of complex requirements analysis capture and validation against and with business and systems requirements.

Benefits

  • Experience of leading DevOps practice and roadmap for Power Platform that consuming teams will be expected to follow.
  • Closely liaison with CoE members, Microsoft, EE Platforms and Practice and consuming teams across Low Code (Power Apps), CRM (Dynamics 365), RPA (Power Automate Desktop) and Data Visualisation (Power BI) to continuously improve on tools, standards and best practice for Low Code Technology.

Requirements

  • You must have a proven track record of managing relationships with consuming communities, maintaining standards and reusable assets, running forums, workshops and creating learning material.
  • Understanding and maintaining continuous awareness of wider functional and engineering features of the platform and contribute to delivery activity for projects the CoE is involved in.
