Mainframe Modernization Expert

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Mainframe Modernization initiatives.
  • 12+ years of experience in the Mainframe & Java Modernisation space is required.
  • The ideal candidate has knowledge in understanding requirements for Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration.
  • Mandatory skills include proficiency in Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, MQ, VSAM.
  • Bonus points for basic Java Knowledge to integrate and understand REST API integration and validations.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience with automation tools, developing problem statements using Java or Python.
  • Prior experience in Mainframe Modernization, migration On-Prem to On-Prem, Cloud Migration to Azure, Migration to Microfocus is highly desirable.
  • Team composition and CI/CD deployment process management skills are a plus.
