Job Title: Mainframe Lead Developer

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Lead Developer to join our team. As a Mainframe Lead Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex Mainframe applications using Java and other technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in Mainframe and Java Modernisation space, with strong understanding of requirements for Mainframe Modernization and Legacy Migration.
  • You will work with a wide range of technologies including COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, MQ, Webservices, EXTRIVE, SORT, and VSAM.
  • Experience in PL/1, JCL, DB2, and CICS is also required.
  • A strong background in triaging production issues using basic tools on Mainframe is essential.
  • Familiarity with distributed solutions and Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
  • Understanding and experience of Product Development Life Cycle, Business Requirement Specification documentation, and Agile environment is necessary.
