Job Overview

This role involves providing comprehensive support and management for voice/telecom networks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve VoIP service issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Support: Provide timely resolution for telecom services from ticket creation to closure.
  • Network Management: Troubleshoot and manage Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, PRI, Toll-Free Services, Long Distance, and Audio Conferencing.
  • VoIP Call Issues: Diagnose and resolve problems such as ASR, ACD, PDD, Dead Air, DTMF, codec mismatches, one-way audio, DID, Toll-Free.
  • Proactive Monitoring: Monitor network entities including routers, switches, NGN, soft switches, SBCs, gateways, and Tx equipment.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors on T1/T3 circuits, conduct head-to-head testing on transport layers.
  • Fraud Investigation: Investigate and resolve fraud-related cases by analyzing SIP/SS7 traces, CDRs, switch logs.
  • SLA Adherence: Ensure Service Level Agreement adherence and provide timely updates to customers and vendors.
  • VoIP Feature Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot VoIP features such as answering rules, music on hold, calling card services.
  • Rotational Environment: Work in a 24/7 rotational environment ensuring minimal service disruption.
