Job Title: Master Data Specialist

This is a role that involves performing day-to-day operations while maintaining Service Level Agreements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for solving queries related to Product Master within the customer, vendor, or product domains.

The ideal candidate will work with a cross-functional team and maintain, analyze, execute requests with utmost quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Follow defined standard operating procedures for all deliverables and processes.
  2. Take ownership of performance against assigned master data processes and key categories.
  3. Accountable for the quality and accuracy of deliverables.
  4. Plan and prioritize workload to ensure accurate delivery within specified timelines.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate update of all master data records.
  6. Deliver tasks on-time, every time.
  7. Review schedule as circumstances change.
  8. Timeliness and efficiency are crucial.
  9. Document and apply feedback from home office, client, field, etc., to improve master data procedures.
  10. Baseline learning and improvement.
  11. Maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) for each period and delivery performance.
  12. Clear reports on time.
  13. Maintain Product master data in SAP as per business input and SOP basis understanding of SAP MM, SD module, commercial structures, and Category Product Hierarchies.
  14. Highlight and seek help from Lead on SOP deviations or issues.
  15. Raise incident tickets to relevant helpdesks when issues arise.
  16. Participate in idea generation and improvement activities.
  17. Understand incoming and outgoing data flows for SAP master data.
  18. Explain and enforce Unilever master data creation and change processes.
  19. Good knowledge of governing policies around Product data as per the area of work.
  20. Update and maintain departmental procedures, SOPs, tools, and metrics for the master data team.
  21. Ensure Data Quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are met.
  22. Adhere to company's master data business rules, policies, and procedures.
  23. Support special projects as needed.
  24. Identify areas for data quality and process improvements and help resolve data quality problems.
  25. Align data management processes in the business value chains and process areas.
  26. Have a continuous improvement mindset and support improvement projects from a data perspective.
