Sustaining Engineer Excellence

We seek a seasoned Sustaining Engineer to drive quality improvement initiatives, implement design changes, and ensure comprehensive product documentation. This role involves mentoring engineers, sharing best practices, and facilitating continuous process enhancement across multiple industries.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in root cause analysis techniques, regulatory requirements, and design changes, with the ability to analyze complex problems, develop effective solutions, and communicate them clearly.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and mentor engineering teams on sustaining engineering principles and practices.
  • Support product lifecycle management from post-launch support to end-of-life.
  • Guide teams in implementing design changes and product modifications efficiently.
  • Lead CAPA investigations ensuring corrective and preventive actions are properly executed.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis to identify and resolve recurring product issues.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant documentation according to industry standards ISO FDA CE.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with R&D Quality Manufacturing and Service teams.
  • Develop and deliver training modules workshops and on-the-job guidance.
  • Monitor key performance indicators KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sustaining engineering activities.
