Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) Engineer located in Navi Mumbai. The QAQC Engineer ensures quality by developing and implementing quality control and assurance processes and procedures.

The QAQC Engineer conducts quality audits, performs inspections, and identifies quality issues for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Handle TPI independently
  • Document control (Gad, ITP, Procedure, ISO documentation, Inspection reports, NCR-CAPA)
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
  • Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
  • Ensuring workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
  • Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
  • Reviewing codes, specifications, and processes
  • Monitor all incoming, process & final inspection activities
  • Verification of Raw material and inspection of bought out components
  • Training to quality as well as production people to improve quality & reduce rejection
  • Follow the checklist for preparing the incoming Inspection report
  • On time Inspection Report preparation
  • Maintaining Rejection, Rework record
  • 5'S monitoring at the department
Qualifications & Skill set
  • Degree in Mechanical engineering, Diploma but with adequate experience
  • 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality Assurance/Control, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of Codes (ASTM SEC II Part A & B, Sec IX, Sec V, Sec VII)
  • ISO knowledge
  • Familiar with 7 QC tool
  • Experience in Oil & Gas processes will be preferred
  • Teamwork, Interpersonal skills, good written and oral communication, and attention to detail
  • Technical understanding, Design skills
  • Problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Inspection skills
  • Experience in Quality Auditing and Quality Management
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
