Job Title: Project Closeout Specialist

This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the closeout process across various project stages, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate, manage, and coordinate all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Maintain and update project data in the designated planning tool while collaborating with project controls team members to verify accuracy and integrity of information.
  • Oversee the return of confirmed surplus materials through the RMA process, ensuring all items are appropriately recorded in the warehouse and relevant systems.
  • Maintain regular communication with the project-assigned Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist the scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required and serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to the quality team.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to the scoping team as necessary.
  • Own the final turnover package, which includes reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by the General Contractor, regularly following up with GCs regarding deliverables, and either suggesting minor corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents for revision.
  • Act as the sole approver for closeout processes in relevant systems, new Purchase Orders will be assigned to the Project Closeout Specialist as needed.
  • Manage all JVizion tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
  • Occasionally follow up on punch list items and monitoring EHS tasks to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • 2+ years of industry experience is required.
  • A good understanding of engineering concepts is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications is required.
  • Engineering certification in related discipline is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard materials is preferred.
  • Construction management background and telecommunication experience are highly desirable.

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is preferred.
