Commercial Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to manage all phases of commercial ICI construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • The ideal candidate will develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • This role ensures compliance with contract scope, safety standards, budget controls, and quality requirements.
  • The successful candidate will coordinate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.

This is a part-time position with a hybrid work model. We offer flexible working hours and occasional office meetings as required.

  • Key responsibilities include managing project administration, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.
  • The selected candidate will prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects.
  • The role involves issuing and managing purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • The ideal candidate will track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims.
  • The commercial project manager must maintain strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • The successful candidate will represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • The key skills required for this role include excellent leadership skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and teams efficiently.
  • The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through proactive communication.
  • The candidate should be able to address project challenges and conflicts promptly to avoid delays.
