Project Coordinator Role

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all phases of commercial ICI construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract scope, safety standards, quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.
  • Handle all project administration tasks, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.
  • Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims.
  • Maintain strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Represent the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through proactive communication.
  • Address project challenges and conflicts promptly to avoid delays.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position with a hybrid work model – a combination of remote work and in-person site visits or office meetings as required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination skills, be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, and possess a strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.

Quality Assurance: A strong understanding of quality assurance processes is essential for this role.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively coordinate with stakeholders.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction management software and tools is necessary for success in this role.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with site supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders.
