Lead Master Data Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Lead Master Data Specialist to oversee the offshore Master Data team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and develop the skills of the team members to ensure expected service level agreement (SLA) performance.
  • Collaborate with the NoCC team to standardize and automate processes, maximizing efficiency.
  • Evaluate the timely progression of financial and non-financial operations to guarantee correctness and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date master data in systems.
  • Oversee training, routine, people development, and other compliance activities.
  • Nurture relationships between the GCC, business unit, and stakeholders.
Master Data Management Activities Execution:
  • Ensure that the Master Data team operates within agreed-upon timelines and maintains an agreed-upon quality level.
  • Perform quality checks on master data setup to correct infractions before they impact business operations or customer relationships.
  • Guarantee the end-to-end process for managing master data is conducted efficiently.
  • Support project initiatives, actively participating as needed.
General Management Activities:
  • Pursue MICS/Risk Management/Audit compliance targets, including creating sustainability models and action plans for open issues (MICS, GRM, and EP Audit with 100% Quality).
  • Develop backup planning strategies (100% for the team).
  • Maintain the Training Tracking Tool and create action plans to minimize knowledge gaps.
  • Achieve SLA/KPIs and provide monthly updates, monitor team performance quality, and take corrective actions to close gaps.
  • E nsure maintenance/update of process training documentation (L5) as per EP standards.
  • Review and recommend enhancements for improving the current workflow to increase efficiency within the process.
  • Conduct routine management (cascade, stand-up, one-to-one, etc.) in accordance with Excellence Program.
  • Facilitate communication flow to/from the team (positive interaction with external parties, BU & ZCC employees).
  • Share best practices across the overall business.
  • Assist in developing procedures for non-recurring transactions and events.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Functional Lead.
People Management Activities:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and safety training requirements.
  • Ensure the team has adequate resources to perform their duties and responsibilities.
  • Administer people management.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Implement the People Cycle according to the Excellence Program (targets setting and cascading, competency appraisal, operational performance review, personal development plans, recovery plans, etc.).
  • Strategize the People plan and handle project-related activities from the Functional Lead, ensuring timely delivery with expected quality.
