Job Title: Master Data Architect

Description:

The ideal candidate will lead a team of senior data engineers in designing and developing large-scale data warehouses using cloud native technologies. Key responsibilities include proposing architectures, solving complex data modeling problems, interacting with clients to gather requirements, and building holistic roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data warehouses using cloud native technologies
  • Propose architectures and solve complex data modeling problems
  • Interact with clients to gather requirements and build holistic roadmaps

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and data engineering
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in leading teams of senior data engineers
  • Hands-on experience in using Python, JVM, and shell scripting with production experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in building cloud native data intensive applications, Amazon Web Service experience is a must
  • Experience in Databricks and dbt, highly proficient in architecting and implementing workflow management systems
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining Spark applications
  • Proficiency in an IaC tool such as Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation
  • Experience with observability systems, such as Datadog or Prometheus/Grafana
  • Strong experience in building CI/CD processes, experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or Jenkins
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks
