Your Role:

As Senior Financial Strategist, you will lead our financial strategy, spearheading fundraising and operational scale-up. You'll ensure we have the resources to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Fundraising:
    • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
    • Lead fundraising: prepare investor materials, pitch decks, and build relations.
    • Implement robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
    • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Marketplace Operations:
    • Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook.
    • Create processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
    • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring hosts & events meet attendee demand.
    • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, community guidelines.
  • Scaling & Partnerships:
    • Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
    • Foster partnerships with venues, service providers, student organizations.
    • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
    • Hire and manage community managers, operational staff as we grow.

  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is beneficial.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, customer support.
  • Strategic thinker who can execute early on.
