Job Description:
The Commercial Banking Relationship Associate will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities and providing exceptional customer service.
- Work with product partners to onboard new clients and complete KYC/initial credit set-ups.
- Engage with product partners and Citi's global network to identify revenue opportunities and position products with clients.
- Generate leads to onboard both borrowing and non-borrowing new clients for the bank.
- Actively prospecting both borrowing and non-borrowing names to initially feed the BD team and then onboard independently once seasoned on Citi processes.
- Partner with Credit Admin team to ensure credit documentation is kept current and monitor usage of credit lines.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, commerce, engineering or related disciplines.
- 4-8 years relevant commercial banking experience.
- Good record of proactively building relationships with product and credit review/approval partners.
