Design Engineer

This role requires a highly skilled design engineer with experience in product development, mechanical systems, and electromechanical products. The successful candidate will have expertise in creating detailed designs using CAD tools and ensuring they meet manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new product concepts by analyzing customer needs and market trends.
  • Create detailed designs using Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD, considering factors like manufacturability, cost, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and meet customer expectations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, such as Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawings, to facilitate production.
  • Source components and materials from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-12 years of experience in product development, mechanical systems, and electromechanical products.
  • Proficient in CAD tools, including Creo, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with PLM systems, PDM tools, and Bill of Materials.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material selection, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
