We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing advanced mechanical systems for next-generation medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Conceptualization: Develop innovative mechanical designs and sub-systems that meet specific performance and functional requirements.
  • Product Development: Design new products or components using CAD software, ensuring they meet precise specifications.
  • Engineering Analysis: Conduct stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate the performance of designed systems.
  • Material Selection: Choose materials based on factors such as mechanical properties and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manufacturing Process Optimization: Develop and optimize products in sheet-metal, machining, and plastic processing techniques.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in materials science and manufacturing processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of designed systems to ensure functionality and compliance with relevant medical device standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of prior experience in medical device design and development.
  • Skills: Strong skills in design calculations, GD & T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Expertise in CAD software and FEA simulation tools.
  • Certifications: Strong understanding of medical device regulations, standards, and certification processes.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex design challenges.
