Club Manager

This is a senior leadership role that oversees the operations of a fitness club.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Planning and Execution:
    • Create and implement an annual activity calendar to enhance member engagement and experience.
    • Coordinate with staff to execute events, workshops, speaker sessions, and client visits.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the club, property owners, external partners, vendors, and members.
    • Maintain effective communication channels for seamless coordination and issue resolution.
  • Team Management:
    • Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate performance of team members.
    • Ensure adherence to uniform policy and maintain a professional atmosphere.
    • Address disciplinary actions in accordance with club policies.
  • Budget and Resource Allocation:
    • Assist in managing club budgets, sponsorships, and resource allocation for events.
    • Collaborate with management for necessary approvals or procurement.
  • Membership Engagement:
    • Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all members.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, complaints, or suggestions promptly and professionally.
    • Promote a culture of attentiveness and responsiveness among staff to ensure every member interaction reflects the club's values.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance:
    • E nsure the club operates in full compliance with local, state, and industry health regulations.
    • Implement and monitor safety procedures across all areas to minimize risk and protect members and staff.
    • Oversee maintenance needs and coordinate staff training in CPR/First Aid.
  • Program and Event Planning:
    • Strategically plan, coordinate, and oversee engaging fitness programs, wellness challenges, workshops, and social events.
    • Collaborate with instructors, personal trainers, and wellness professionals to design innovative offerings.
    • Monitor attendance and feedback to refine programming.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain documentation of all club activities for audit, continuity, and institutional reporting.
    • Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
