About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer to join our Technology Infrastructure team. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment focused on innovation and infrastructure technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Site Reliability Engineer will play a critical operational role applying software and systems engineering skills to develop and maintain distributed, real-time systems that serve key stakeholders in the firm's global business.
  • They will optimize operations of existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • The engineer will build foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems both new and existing.
  • Collaboration with development and quant teams is required to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions.
  • System capacity and performance monitoring will identify potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before they affect stakeholders.
  • Review and feedback on automation code developed by peers maintaining high standards of code quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system issues analyzing their impact on infrastructure and service operations.
  • Participation in or leading design reviews with peers and stakeholders evaluating and selecting the best technologies and automation strategies for the firm's needs.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems cloud-based services and infrastructure AWS Infrastructure as Code Terraform and Configuration Management Ansible.
  • Experience with container technologies including Docker Kubernetes AWS EKS and ECS.
  • Self-motivated excellent communication and interpersonal skills strong sense of ownership commitment to highest ethical standards.
