We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead multiple project streams and clients in improving business decision-making within the Lifesciences/Pharmaceutical domain.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide hands-on technical leadership to delivery teams for major engagements on a day-to-day basis.
  2. Develop and execute global program plans for Data Management programs across Enterprise DWH, Data Lake, Big Data, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Master Data Management solutions.
  3. Drive data management business requirements across pharma commercial data sets in workshops with client business teams and onshore counterparts.
  4. Guide teams to deliver logical and physical data models for Pharma Commercial Data Lakes and Warehouses.
  5. Oversee risk management, quality, and profitability on engagements and liaise with client leads and onshore delivery partners.
  6. Foster clear and timely communication across program stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned on weekly progress.
  7. Cultivate middle and junior level staff through coaching, mentoring, and development. Perform performance management of all team members reporting to this role.
  8. Develop manager layers to be future leaders.
  9. Promote the Business Information Management (BIM) practice as a SME in cloud data management space.
  10. Direct training & skill enhancement of the team in line with pipeline opportunities.
Requirements
  • Candidates should possess 14+ years of experience delivering customer-focused Cloud Data Management solutions including Enterprise Data Warehouse, Enterprise Data Lake, Master Data Management System, Business Intelligence & Reporting solutions, IT Architecture Consulting, Cloud Platforms (AWS/AZURE), SaaS/PaaS based solutions in the Life Science industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Pharma domain.
  • Successful program management/solutioning of 2-3 end-to-end DW Cloud implementations on AWS/Redshift/Cloud in Pharma or Life Sciences Business domains.
  • Prior hands-on working experience on big data and ETL technologies.
  • Tech stack exposure from amongst AWS, ETL, Data modeling, Python, Qlik/Tableau/MicroStrategy, Dataiku, Databricks, Airflow, Graph DB, Full stack.
  • Good to have working knowledge of tools: At least 2 of the following QlikView, Qlik Sense, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Spotfire, MS PBI.
  • Understanding of end-to-end pharma commercial landscape covering both enterprise and syndicated data sets.
  • Exposure to Business processes like alignment, market definition, segmentation, sales crediting, activity metrics calculation and Exposure on advanced analytics such as next best action implementation.
  • Ability to handle large teams of IT professionals.
  • Ability to lead large RFP responses.
  • Ability to handle different stakeholders customers, vendors, internal teams.
