AP Process Coordinator

This role involves managing the Accounts Payable function, assisting associates in identifying and implementing AP improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in the accounts payable process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process Purchase Order, Non-Purchase Order (FI), eInvoices: Follow established procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Reconcile processed work: Verify entries and compare system reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Charge expenses: Analyze invoice/expense reports and record entries to charge expenses to accounts and cost centers.
  • Production planning: Allocate inflow volume to team members on a daily basis.
  • Paying vendors: Monitor contract/PO terms, discounts, scheduling, and preparing checks/Fund Transfer Orders.
  • Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies: Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos, issue stop-payments, or purchase order amendments.
  • Process travel and expense reports: Receive and verify expense reports for advances and receipts.
  • Good knowledge of excel reports: Use Pivot tables, formulas, formatting, and cleansing data.
  • Resolving queries: Handle wrong postings, reversals, and corrections.
  • Support team members: Clarify doubts and confusions related to processing corrections.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy: Ensure invoice processing and monthly reports are accurate.
  • Report taxes: Process region-specific invoices according to requirements.

Qualifications:

  • University graduate in any discipline.
  • Bachelor/Master of Commerce or Business Administration preferred.
  • Relevant work experience in AP, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Sound knowledge of written and spoken English.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP preferable.
  • Understanding of Source to Pay process an advantage.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Drive to achieve results and deliver on goals.
