Senior Finance Specialist

Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to support our finance operations. This role involves daily income audits, cashiering duties, and accounting responsibilities, ensuring accurate financial records and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Income Audit:
- Prepare daily sales reports and circulate them among HODs and owners by 10:00 AM.
- Run day-end in Jonas System and generate necessary reports by departments/outlets.
- Audit all revenue transactions for accuracy, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Prepare and issue management reports (daily, weekly, monthly) as required.
- Reconcile credit cards daily and post to the system.
- Evaluate and authorize rebates and discounts.
- Cashiering:
- Collect and count cashier envelopes daily with a witness.
- Record all amounts received in the General Cashier Daily Report.
- Manage and reconcile petty cash, disburse cash after verifying requests, and maintain a register of petty cash advances.
- Supervise outlet cashiering staff to ensure effective operations.
- Accounting:
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with financial reporting.
- Support the chief accountant with annual and interim audits.
- Maintain proper filing and ensure adherence to record retention policies.
