Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Application Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our ICT Services group, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment and maintenance of software applications across various customer environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the right packaging approach is used, depending on the application.
  • Execute the steps of the application packaging process within Service Level Agreement (SLA) limits, including application intake, packaging, technical testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and resolving incidents and requests related to packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve tickets and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
  • Manage and support customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Respond to and resolve assigned incidents, implementing requests and changes while adhering to SLAs and minimizing business impact.
  • Update customers and ITSM tickets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Comply with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based operations environment using ITSM toolsets like ServiceNow.
