Dhruva Space is looking for a seasoned Contract and Compliance Specialist. This key role is pivotal to enabling the company's business growth while ensuring that all legal frameworks are aligned with both national and international standards.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance. Strong expertise in contract management, risk mitigation, and regulatory affairs will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to ensure enforceability, clarity, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international laws, including Contract Law, Civil Law, Companies Act, and UN treaties.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain legal templates, SOPs, and repositories to streamline processes and reduce turnaround time.
  • Manage the company's intellectual property portfolio and contribute to internal policy development.
  • Provide research and insights on emerging international frameworks relevant to the space-tech sector.
  • Participate in organizational reviews, internal training, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated program) from a recognized institution.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in a law firm or in-house legal team, preferably within space, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Strong expertise in contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, multitask effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
