Highly Skilled Technology Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer. This individual will have a strong technical background, excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting deployment failures and infrastructure issues across our AWS infrastructure stack (EKS, RDS).
Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining monitors for uptime and performance using Datadog, CloudWatch, and other monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will also find ways to reduce errors in systems and minimize noise in monitors and alerts.
Additional duties include working with others on user stories to improve system health, helping create and prioritize work/stories, participating in standups with US and India teams, and defining runbooks and automation to solve production problems.
The chosen candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting applications from a configuration and logging perspective, assisting with responding to and analyzing security events from security tooling, and helping train others to take on SRE responsibilities.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, 4+ years of experience in AWS (EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, AWS CLI), and Linux (Centos, Amazon Linux, Ubuntu) knowledge.
A solid understanding of components that make up production systems (Memory, CPU, Disk space, Disk i/o, Network i/o) is also required. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong experience with monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation tools: Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, PagerDuty, Statuspage.
Prior application coding and debugging experience (Ruby, Python, etc.), Terraform and/or CloudFormation, and experience troubleshooting application integrations are preferred skills.
