Senior Redshift Engineer Opportunity

Location: Remote (Within India)

Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)

At a leading provider of top-tier talent, we specialize in delivering specialized professionals across enterprise platforms. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Redshift Engineer to support our clients in architecting, optimizing, and scaling AWS Redshift environments.

Job Description

Lead architecture review and validation for multiple AWS Redshift clusters by analyzing and validating sizing assumptions and providing right-sizing recommendations. Define and implement operational excellence best practices (runbooks, monitoring, alerting) and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and health metrics for Redshift platforms.

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehousing solutions that meet business requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years in data engineering or database engineering/administration, with deep hands-on expertise in AWS Redshift.
  • Proven experience in cluster architecture review, sizing, and right-sizing recommendations.
  • Strong background in query performance tuning, schema optimization, and workload management.
