Job Title: Demand Management Specialist

About the Role:

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing demand and supply planning processes, ensuring seamless integration with our global order promising strategy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Oracle Demand Planning processes, including CTO forecasting and planning measure management.
  2. Collect data from various systems, troubleshoot failures, and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support supply planning processes, including MPR and constrained/unconstrained planning.
  4. Utilize expertise in supply planning data models, REST APIs, and BIP reports to drive business outcomes.
  5. Lead end-to-end planning integrated business cycles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
  6. Resolve critical planning issues related to plan behavior, data gaps, supply/demand reconciliation, and other complexities.
  7. Execute quarterly patching testing and validations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  8. Receive, analyze, and prioritize support tickets related to Oracle Demand Planning Processes, including CTO forecasting and planning measure management.
  9. Perform initial assessment of issues with data collection from various systems, internal, and external sources.
  10. Triage failures and route to appropriate support teams or on-calls, ensuring swift resolution.
  11. Document and categorize supply planning process improvements, identifying areas for optimization.
  12. Identify severity and impact of problems related to supply planning data models, REST APIs, and BIP reports.
  13. Monitor and coordinate support for end-to-end planning integrated business cycles.
  14. Manage incident tickets related to support for E2E Oracle SCP.
  15. Track and prioritize quarterly patch testing needs, ensuring timely completion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with Oracle Demand, Supply Planning, and Global Order Promising solutions.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data collections and integration between systems, as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of MRP and planning process, including experience with REST APIs and BIP reporting.
  • Good understanding of integrated planning business cycles, with ability to lead and manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Technical aptitude with data models, BIP, and system integration (REST APIs, etc.).
