Zuora Engineer Needed for Critical Infrastructure Support

Our client is urgently seeking a skilled Zuora engineer to address a critical single point of failure in their subscription billing infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in stabilising operations and enhancing customer experience workflows across a global footprint.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving risks within the Zuora platform, designing and optimising customer experience workflows, collaborating with Product, Finance, and CX teams, implementing best practices for Zuora configuration and automation, and providing technical leadership and documentation to reduce future dependency risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Identify and resolve risks within the Zuora platform to ensure operational continuity.
  • Workflow Design: Design and optimise customer experience workflows across billing and subscription journeys.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Finance, and CX teams to align Zuora capabilities with business goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Implement best practices for Zuora configuration, automation, and data integrity.
  • Documentation: Provide technical leadership and documentation to reduce future dependency risks.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Zuora Expertise: Proven experience as a Zuora engineer or architect in enterprise environments.
  • Subscription Billing: Deep understanding of subscription billing models and customer lifecycle management.
  • Tech Skills: Hands-on expertise with Zuora APIs, Workflow Designer, Product Catalog, and Reporting.
  • Integration Experience: Experience integrating Zuora with CRM (e.g. Salesforce), ERP, and data platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
