Job Summary

To succeed in this role as a Service Operation Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you should have a proven track record in customer service, preferably in a similar role. You will be responsible for following up with customers for Service business on Maintenance contracts and spare parts, and other service inquiries. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Field Service team, Supply chain, and other service coordinators. Your duties will include preparing quotations for spare parts in response to FSE requests, customer requests, or tender requests. You should also be able to handle customer requests and follow up for purchase orders and payments, as well as initiate the renewal process of Service Contracts in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will ensure timely invoicing of contracts and follow up on unpaid invoices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Contract Customer Data in SAP and other systems is also a critical responsibility.
