Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of our databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Install, configure, and troubleshoot SQL Server instances, as well as manage database backups and recovery processes.
  2. Develop and implement efficient database architectures, optimize query performance, and debug stored procedures.
  3. Implement CDC (Change Data Capture) with Debezium/Kafka for real-time data synchronization and maintain Always On Availability Groups.
  4. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement databases that meet business requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in database administration, preferably with SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server architecture, SSMS, and SQL Agent.
  • Practical experience with database installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Performance/Query tuning and debugging of stored procedures and SQL jobs.
  • Experience working with GitLab/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Will to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
