Database Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database administration group, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of complex databases.

  • Design and implement master/slave replication with failover scenarios to ensure high availability of database systems.
  • Migrate existing databases to cloud environments and manage upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
  • Perform performance optimization of database systems to improve query execution and system efficiency.

Key Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration, proficiency in backups, user management, and securing database environments.

Preferred Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, hands-on experience with database upgrades, patching, and maintenance, and working knowledge of cloud environments.
