About This Role

We're seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member, you'll collaborate with senior developers to design, test, plan, protect and implement our department's databases.

Responsibilities
  • Manage database performance, locking, process blocking, and tuning.
  • Create and maintain high availability and disaster-recovery-friendly architecture.
  • Manage, optimize, test, and verify backup and restoration processes.
  • Develop and deploy new database objects and changes to existing ones.
  • Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
Requirements
  • Advanced understanding of relational database architecture/infrastructure, specifically MSSQL.
  • Knowledge of SSMS, SSRS, and support tooling.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design.
  • Experience with Always On High Availability Groups is a plus.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and break-down complex problems.
  • Clearly communicate ideas, thoughts, and suggestions to manager and peers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
