Job Title: Enterprise Application Reliability Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Application Reliability Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure, analyzing results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and scenarios to validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.
  • Perform stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations.
  • Monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing resiliency enhancements.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Apache JMeter, Rational Performance Tester.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python, Java.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to analyze complex system failures and develop targeted solutions.
