Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability and scalability of our accounting platforms.

  • Ensure that accounting platforms meet defined service level agreements for performance, reliability, and uptime.
  • Build automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Lead on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  • Establish best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
  • Partner with software engineers, data engineers, and finance teams to ensure operational needs are met from development through production.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, or production engineering, ideally supporting financial applications.
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Prometheus.
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills for automation and tooling.
  • Proven ability to manage incident response and conduct postmortems.
  • Experience ensuring compliance, security, and audit-readiness in enterprise applications.
