Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our mechanical maintenance function. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime, reliability, and cost efficiency across fabrication, welding, paint shop, utilities, and assembly lines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent equipment breakdowns and optimize performance.
  • Oversee the smooth functioning of key systems, including fabrication machines, welding lines, paint shops, assembly lines, utility systems, and electrical automation systems.
  • Minimize downtime and ensure availability of critical spare parts.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, guide, and supervise a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians across multiple shifts.
  • Conduct skill upgradation programs for maintenance staff on new technologies, such as robotics, PLC, and automation.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Control:
  • Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Kaizen, 5S, and root cause analysis (RCA) to reduce repetitive breakdowns.
  • Drive automation upgrades and energy-saving initiatives.
  • Optimize maintenance costs while improving machine reliability.
Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for pressure vessels, boilers, electrical systems, and environment.
  • Maintain documentation for ISO, IATF, and customer audits.
  • Enforce strict adherence to plant safety practices.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team leadership and cross-functional coordination abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive sheet metal machinery and utilities.
  • Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, automation, and control systems.

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Electrical exposure preferred).
  • 15–20 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in auto/auto-component or sheet metal industry, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Hands-on exposure to robotic welding, paint shops, CNC fabrication equipment, and utilities.
