Storage Engineer Job Description

">Job Title:

We are seeking a skilled Storage Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans for Storage QA testing, ensuring seamless integration with SSDs, firmware, and storage subsystems.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot various hardware and software components, guaranteeing optimal system performance.
  • Verify bugs and resolve issues in a timely manner, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Python scripts, contributing to the evolution of our automation framework.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, ensuring high-quality deliverables and meeting project deadlines.

In addition to technical expertise, we seek an individual with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities. The ideal candidate should possess a solid working knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, as well as troubleshooting skills.

This role requires a proactive and flexible individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to achieve common goals and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  2. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Storage QA testing with SSDs, firmware, and storage subsystems.
  3. Excellent knowledge of storage arrays, such as JBOFs and JBOD.
  4. Proven track record of designing and implementing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and resolving technical issues.
  5. Strong understanding of operating systems, including Windows and Linux, and troubleshooting skills.
  6. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
