The Convergence Foundation is a leading philanthropic organization dedicated to catalyzing economic growth. As a Talent Researcher, you will play a crucial role in building high-quality talent intelligence for recruiters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Map markets and organizations to produce longlists
  • Keep data tight and share insights on where to hunt next for key organizations
  • Turn the role search system into must-haves, adjacent titles, exclusion terms, and a reusable search grammar
What You Will Do:
  • Market sizing: Estimate pool sizes by city/company/seniority and call trade-offs early
  • Org deconstruction: Map target companies/teams, feeder functions, and look-alikes; surface hidden pockets
  • Targeting strategy: Build a tiered A/B/C target company list with reasons; maintain a living watchlist of additions/drops
Requirements:
  • 36 years of experience in ops/research/analyst style roles (KPO, market research, MIS/PMO, consulting analyst)
  • Strong Excel skills (filters, pivots, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, COUNTIFS; regex is a plus)
  • Power user of LinkedIn search; quick to learn new conventions

KPIs:
• Time to first slate: 5 working days from intake
• Longlist quality: 70% recruiter-accepted; 5% email bounce rate
• Coverage: 80% of agreed target companies covered within 3 weeks
• Conversion: 30% recruiter outreach; 15% screening call

Qualifications:
• Experience with labour-market intel tools
• Light automation for data cleaning (formulas/App Script or basic Python)
• Familiarity with research/policy/consulting talent pools / environment

Nice to Have:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
