Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Finance Manager. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing direct tax strategies to optimize our company's tax position.

In this role, you will play a critical part in mitigating tax risks, handling audits, and driving strategic decisions that ensure the accuracy and completeness of our direct tax returns. You will also advise internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.

You will have the opportunity to mentor finance team members and stay ahead in a dynamic regulatory environment.

  • Develop and implement direct tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position
  • Research, interpret, and apply relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance
  • Prepare and review direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
  • Manage tax audits and coordinate responses and documentation for tax authorities
  • Advise internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions
  • Monitor changes in direct tax laws and assess their business impact
  • Identify tax saving opportunities while minimizing tax liabilities and risks
  • Provide guidance and training to finance and business teams on direct tax matters
  • Ensure robust documentation and compliance with reporting requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Key qualifications include:

  • In-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits
  • Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex tax legislation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding junior finance professionals
  • Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation
