Senior Commercial Banking Expert

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Commercial Banking Expert.

This individual will act as a strategic advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing expertise in commercial banking operations.

The role requires a thorough understanding of the banking delivery function, with deep knowledge of maturies, platforms, geographical requirements, client support systems, and accelerators in the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements across client implementations, solution design, and process improvements.
  • Translate complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for Business Process Services (BPS) function.
  • Own RFP/RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives (e.g., process reengineering, automation, workflow orchestration) in client banking operations.
  • Collaborate with delivery and technology teams to ensure banking domain alignment in solution implementation and ongoing service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to one or more areas like corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, client onboarding from operations standpoint.
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within an BPS function is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment.
  • Very good understanding of digital banking trends, banking platforms, automation, analytics, and FinTech collaboration models is a plus.
  • Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations, capability decks, and process views.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree with Master's degree in management or related field.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements.
  • Global exposure (UK, US, APAC, or Middle East banking regulations and practices).
