Job Role

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through event sponsorships. With a strong background in marketing and communications, this role will not only focus on sales but also on developing compelling marketing collateral, persuasive sales pitches, and targeted engagement strategies that resonate with high-profile audiences of business leaders, policymakers, and investors.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement, combined with the ability to craft impactful narratives and high-quality promotional materials to support business development. Sponsorship Sales & Strategic Partnerships
  • Develop and execute a sponsorship sales strategy for flagship events, including:

IGF UK (June)

IGF UAE (November)

IGF India (March)

USA market expansion

  • Identify, engage, and secure high-value sponsors by presenting tailored partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the program team to ensure sponsor expectations align with event themes and audience engagement goals.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop long-term strategic partnerships beyond one-time sponsorships.
Marketing & Sales Collateral Development
  • Produce high-impact pitch decks, sponsorship proposals, and membership marketing materials to support business development efforts.
  • Work with the marketing team to create compelling digital assets, brochures, and video content that effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Customize pitches and presentations for potential sponsors and members, ensuring a strong, data-driven, and persuasive approach.
Lead Generation & Business Development
  • Research and identify new sponsorship prospects, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of leads, tracking progress through CRM systems, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Establish strong working relationships with decision-makers at potential sponsors.
Event Activation & Sponsor Engagement
  • Work closely with sponsors to ensure seamless activation of sponsorship deliverables before, during, and after events.
  • Coordinate with program and operations teams to integrate sponsor messaging into event programming and branding.
  • Provide post-event impact reports to sponsors, highlighting ROI and engagement metrics.
Data-Driven Sales & Performance Analysis
  • Monitor sponsorship sales performance, tracking KPIs such as revenue growth, conversion rates, and retention.
  • Provide data-backed insights to refine sales strategies and enhance engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify emerging sponsorship trends and innovative sales approaches.
Key Deliverables
  • Annual sponsorship sales strategy with revenue targets.
  • High-quality sales decks, sponsorship proposals, and membership pitch materials.
  • A strong pipeline of sponsorship and membership leads, with clear tracking and conversion metrics.
  • Post-event sponsorship impact reports, demonstrating ROI for partners.
  • Growth in high-end membership acquisitions and retention rates.
Skills and Experience Required1. Sales & Business Development Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in sponsorship sales or strategic partnerships, ideally within events, media, or a global business platform.
  • Proven track record in securing high-value sponsorships.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with experience engaging with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.
2. Marketing & Communications Expertise
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives and design high-impact sales materials.
  • Experience working with marketing teams to develop branded content, pitch decks, and promotional campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, audience segmentation, and B2B engagement strategies.
3. Event Sponsorship Focus
  • Experience in selling event sponsorship packages, including branding, thought leadership, and networking opportunities.
  • Familiarity with exclusive membership models, including structuring benefits and engagement initiatives.
4. Data-Driven Sales Approach
  • Strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimize sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, data visualization tools, and digital marketing analytics to track progress and refine approaches.
5. Creativity & Adaptability
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative sponsorship offerings tailored to different industries.
